At Chocolate Fish Coffee Roasters, we strive for perfection; but as we all know, things don't always go as planned.

Roasting coffee is a fine art, but every batch can be slightly different. When dialing in a new coffee, the first roast always has the potential to veer off the expected course. 

In our pursuit of great coffee, we use our mistakes as learning experiences. You can't make an omelet without cracking a few eggs!

We value the hard work that goes into farming and harvesting coffee, and want to put the fruit of that labor into use, even when it doesn't quite meet our standards.

This coffee isn't bad, it just hasn't quite reached its full potential yet.
